Artist Biography & Statement

Angela Duffy is a visual artist, from the west of Ireland. She works in mixed media  with particular focus on painting , assemblage and Installation. Her installations vary, from mixed media to multi-media and she has a preference for reusing and repurposing materials to use in her projects where possible. She has provided arts  facilitation in health settings and has also worked with  schools and community groups.

Her  interests are in human perception, artificial and natural systems and the construct of time. Through her work she examines how we see, hear, feel and react to all kinds of internal or external stimuli.  She  references  the many changing personal, social, cultural, political, natural and artificial systems, that are constantly shifting, and intertwining in the world today.
